We are an at-cost academic, Christian, classical cooperative of families who desire to evoke wonder which leads to worship which ultimately leads to wisdom. We teach and gather together around the seven liberal arts. We plan to meet 1.5 days a week. We desire that restful learning, or Scholé, be characteristic in our education.
When and Where: We plan to meet at Calvary Church on Tuesdays from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and again from 12p.m. to 3p.m. on Thursdays.
Leaning on the model of the early church, our desire is to keep the cost of the community low, without hindering the quality of the co-op. Depending on numbers, we desire to have every mom serve in a classroom for 4 of the 5 hours on Tuesdays and have an hour of scholé time to plan, have an intentional conversation with another mom in the break room, pray, read a book, etc. We desire to divide responsibilities based on giftings, passions, and experience. There is a facility fee that covers insurance and cleaning as well as a supply fee per child.
